if you get a dental establish….do you have to go around with no tooth there or do they place something in its place for looks

That’s what an establish is. It is planted into your gum to replace a lost tooth.

If it’s where you can see it, they will give you a “flipper” (artificial tooth) to wear while the establish in the jaw grows into the bone. After about 4-5 months you go back and they place the stable tooth on.
