Are dental implants "nice to have" when you have lost back teeth, or "need to have"?

Are dental implants "nice to have" when you have lost back teeth, or "need to have"?

Patient is 80 years ancient with no front teeth missing. They are, but, missing 2 high left molars, 3 high right molars, and 2 lower right molars. They are not in pain and can chew adequately. But now a dentist specializing in cosmetic and establish dentistry has recommended expensive partial dentures to replace the missing high 5 molars. In that the patient has no dental insurance and is fixed income, the dentist suggests spreading the cost out over time by replacing the missing high molars with partial dentures now, and the lower molars with partial dentures in 1 year.

The question really becomes is whether the patient really needs to go broke paying for implants they may not really need. So do cosmetic and establish dentists sometimes recommend discretionary work? Or would these implants really be necessary to prevent drifting of the remaining teeth or additional deterioration?

Are implants more cosmetic? Or structurally necessary? And versus spending hundreds more on X-rays with another dentist, what is an inexpensive way to get a second opinion in a small town with few dentists?

In all honesty, if the patient is that ancient and it’s just the back teeth, why bother getting them? The patient is not in pain, and does not have any conundrum chewing so their is no conundrum. Obviously, the dentist will recommend them, because they want your money. I would suggest not to get them, if you certainly don’t need them of course. Excellent Luck!

He/She has coped very well without them so it isnt a neccessity, as an alternative, there is the option of partial dentures that dont have implants to glue them by… just the excellent ancient fashioned “place them in a glass by the nite stand” type? Certainly a much cheaper option.

best dental establish system

My dentist has informed me that I am slowly going to be losing all my teeth, so implants will be necessary… unless I want dentures.. which I certainly to not want at my age. But, I also do not want Dental Establish dentures. Can I have a dental establish for each missing tooth in my jaw? My dentist says my jaw bone is in fill in shape… Is that even a possible procedure? I don;t want snap on’s but I want them implanted into my head in my actual gums..

Its better not to take the choice by yourself. You should give the choice on the dental establish specialists like Brueggen dental, etc. They can better know your stability of your jaw and can take the right choice for you. Even if your dentist has told you that your jaws are in fill in shape but you should another advice whether they are capable enough of taking all the loads.

Hasty decisions can result in pain and more complications. So always choose the right advice before the choice. Hope they too find your jaw bones in proper shape and can handle the load in future..
