My jaw hurt from my chin implant?

It is about 3-4 weeks since I got out of the operation and the stitches. For a while, did not hurt and I really forgot, but now the pain is back. It feels exceptionally sensitive when certain words I mouth. My teeth also feel particularly vulnerable to the same area. Is this a possible complication? If yes, please

graft for dental bone graft for tooth establish

Hi, About a 1.5 years, we have found that my son an impacted second Molar (lower right) had. I have a feeling it may have orthodonist as part of his working years ancient ortho geworden.Seine recommended extraction. The tooth is close to 1 Molars and broken easily. My dentist also dissatisfied with the orthodontist, and has suggested I get a second opinion, which I’m going to do. Before I get the second opinion, I hope to know whether it is even possible, just an impacted second Molar war.Nach is what I’ve read where the 2 Molar is extracted, it is doubtful his wisdom tooth is coming honest and fill the gap. His was orthodonist signifying that it would work. The wisdom tooth is already krumm.Die additional possibility of course is an establish or join, or a combination of beidem.Ich try to do what is best for my son. Any advice would be very dankbar.Vielen Thanks

response by Free Shyne
I would recommend that the 2nd Left molars. ortho braces probably want him more. get a second opinion

answer by Brandy H
most orthodontists recommend not to have drawn the teeth when it is completely necessary. Judge it or not try to dental professionals who have not taken their teeth to save. Listen to what you tell your dentist and orthodontist, they also have your sons best interest in mind. If you have still not feel well a second opinion.

answer by CDA ~ NY
Wow … Talk about Deja Vu … My daughter had the same … her left lower second molar was unnatural … We chose it’s over and place in place .. summarize: it was successful I would be a second opinion from an unbiased oral surgeon …! but it can be done ……… Excellent luck to you and your son:)

answer matt_w_kit
I know my ortho. told me to wait, 3 came to me reasonably well, but there are still 1 that influences a bit, but they said one possibility is that the tooth tends to have a molar (which is when the wisdom tooth in croked coming is) it can really hit the upright molars and that is why he wanted me to wait.

Will Invisilign be able to treat asymmetry and create space for a dental implant?

Will Invisilign be able to treat asymmetry and create space for a dental implant?

I had braces for the first several years of high school. For whatever reason, neither of my canine teeth descended and were impacted in the bone. X-Rays revealed that one of these was in too awkward of a position to brought down down. The result was that my orthodontist was able to pull down one canine and I was left with the choice of whether to close the gap with the teeth I had or get a dental establish. Since at the time I wanted to get my braces off as soon as possible, I chose to just close the gap (I really shouldn’t have even been left with the choice at my age).

Since then, my teeth have shifted considerably. I now have slight crowding on the bottom, a bit of an angle across my entire top row of teeth, a shifted middle line on the top row, and a gap in the middle on top. I judge that all of this was caused by the asymmetry that I was left with at the end of my treatment. This resulted despite me wearing my retainers past the recommended time.

So my question is will Invisalign work for my needs and will I be able to wear the system while going through the process of getting a dental establish?

Here is a picture of my teeth. My teeth aren’t absolutely horrible but they’re terrible enough for me to be self-conscious about them. Even if it may look like I have canines on both sides of my mouth, the tooth on my right side (left in the picture) is really my first premolar. Also, I’m 23.

Answer by blacksails
Your teeth look like they would have really fantastic results from invisalign. Your teeth aren’t very terrible at all, and they are symmetrical in shape. I also have a gap in the front teeth and some angled teeth and they told me that I would be a fantastic candidate except the fact that my teeth are too small, so I am getting Lumineers in a few weeks. You should see a dentist for a free consultation.. but make sure to see a cosmetic dentist that really knows what he is doing. He will be able to tell you what would be the best treatment plot for you. It will really depend on your dentist as far as the establish with what they prefer that you do. My dentist refused to see me for Lumineers until after I had my establish and crown done. It does look like you would be a fantastic candidate though. Excellent luck!

Answer by Cfr16
I went in for an invisalign consultation, and I wasn’t eligable because my conundrum is that my teeth are rotated. Basically, Invisalign will work for gaps & spaces just fine – but I don’t know about the bottom teeth, with the crowding.

If you go to the invisalign website, I reckon you can look up orthodontists in your area who specialize in it and you can usually go in for a free consultation.

I just need to stress please help me
I have
1. Periodontal disease with pockets ranging 3-5 mg with one at 7mg
2. Three root canaled teeth
3. Three more root canaled teeth with no crowns
4. four missing teeth all in the back excpet one in the back

My goal is too
Treat the gum disease whether it be by surgery or scaling
Get what teeth that need to be extracted and get implants
Keep my mouth healthy

I have this nasty taste Im going to scream

ANYWAYS
Here is my new conundrum. On a root canal that I had done in January, I didn’t get the crown place on because there was still this aching pain. I went to another dentist the additional day because I thought it was a free dentist but it wasn’t. I’m going to be going to a dental school to get this all done. Anyways they told me that the root canaled tooth had an absess.

They showed it to me on the radiograph. WHAT SHOULD I DO. They said there was no bone loss. Should I take the tooth out and replace it with an establish or do I take a chance with a retreat root canal and just get it crowned quick?

Did it re-infect because it wasn’t crowned?

The reason why they wouldn’t crown it was because I still had pain after the RC.

Any suggestions PLEASE. Im sick of this I just want to disapear.

Answer by Mel
A person in my family had a lot of problems with their teeth. It is just one of them things. She had all her teeth taken out and never had any problems ever again. If you have gum and mouth problems this terrible and it seems abscess also now then it will probably just get worse for you because once your teeth start to go then that’s it. You can keep repairing and repairing but you will always have problems, so I would suggest that you have all of your teeth out and have fake teeth made for you which CAN be perminant these days and then you won’t have any more abcess’s or problems and in the long run will be much better for you. Nobody has to know your teeth are not real because they will look real. Additional than that your just going to have to keep trying. Excellent luck xx

Q&A: Implant or Extraction?

Q&A: Implant or Extraction?

I’m 14 years ancient and I have a baby tooth which doesn’t have a stable tooth coming up to pop in its place. And I recently got braces, and the dentist told me, I may maybe any have an establish when I turn 18, or I may maybe take out four teeth quicker or later, including the baby tooth. He said time would tell, but I want to know which do you reckon would be better? The pros and cons. Please and Thank you.

Answer by Ruby
This is always a grey area, since you are already in braces you obviously have an orthodontic conundrum and teeth are life went around.

If you have the extractions then the spaces will be closed during your orthodontic treatment.

If you don’t then the baby tooth can remain in your mouth until such a time as its roots life to resorb and then would be the time to have the establish done. The down side of implants is that they can fail there is no guarantee that it will last for your life time and then you will be left with a space where it once was.

Also implants are expensive.

Answer by 1eydjackie
To get a dental establish, the tooth has to be extracted. I reckon your dentist should be able to place a veneer on it to make it larger if it’s a front tooth and then when you have real problems with it, like when the root dies out on it, then get it extracted and place in an establish.

This dentist is making my full high prostisis to connect to my implants. The dentist is making the teeth in his office. I questioned why he wasn’t using denture teeth and the dentist said what he is making at his office is better! there will be no gum section just teeth which will sit right up to my gums. I dont reckon so, or maybe im incorrect? i thought denture teeth are made in a lab using special technics, and they last for 10 to 15 years. mean while the teeth he made still dont look right. The shape of them etc. What shud i do! are teeth made in the dentist office better then persons aquired from manufactures?

Answer by tkahrs12122
It doesn’t matter where they are made. If you are despondent tell your dentist and make him fix them

Answer by spongebobrogers
Depends, in general all the teeth made for dentures are made out of the same material. Some dentists have the capability to make their own prosthesis in their office, which is fine. Most dentists just don’t have time to do this, the gear is expensive, most don’t specialize in making these, and just use labs. I judge I have seen what you are describing. It is a newer practice that involves using implants to hold a set of teeth in place. This way you don’t have to have something covering your palate. It should last just as long. If you aren’t pleased with the shape you should tell him. The lab probably has more specialty in shaping, but this doesn’t mean your dentist can’t do the same. This practice is probably better for your gum health.

Answer by HeatherS
The dentist is usually the one who does the impressions for the crowns to be made at a lab, even if some dentist do make their own in office crowns which are just a excellent. Making the crowns for the implants is standard practice for the dentist, just as surgically placing the implants is usually the Oral Surgeons role.

Anytime you are unclear of your dental treatment, just question. You should be informed about every step of the procedure with something as vital and expensive as implants. You should also be able to make any suggestions or changes that you would like, after all, you are the one who has to live with them. Don’t settle for less when it comes to your dental health. Talk everything over with your dentist, he will be pleased to clarify everything to you so that you know and know what to expect.

What you are referring to is an over denture or a q-seal denture that attaches to the implants. It’s an ancient practice that has been updated, I’m sure your dentist will go over it thoroughly when you question and may have one for you to see. If you are despondent with the shape or size of the teeth, any adjustment can be made during a try in session. So don’t worry, the temporary you are wearing is not near as precise as the stable denture will be.

Options for missing tooth?

Options for missing tooth?

I’ve been wearing a retainer for 4+ years now because I have a missing tooth and its embarrassing to not have it in but having it in is nearly as embarrassing now that I’m nearly 20 years ancient. I’m a smoker so I’d have to quit to get a join but that will not happen. I would get an establish but my dentist says the teeth next to the missing one would be killed if an establish is place in.

So what are my options besides quitting smoking? I’ve seen things that look like retainers without the metal wire in the front and have the fake tooth on them. What is this called?

Answer by ~cher~
My husband has a missing tooth, and he had 3 options from the dentist- partial denture, a join, and… I don’t remember the third.

BTW, he did stop smoking, but not just for the new tooth!

Answer by me who?
I have never heard you have to quit smoking to get a tooth replaced. The options are establish, join and partial. Sure if you smoke then your natural teeth will pick up stain that the join will not pick up, but you can still smoke if you want to…none of my smoking patients ever quit for a join. LOL.

Answer by JoyRS
First of all, unless the teeth that are next to the missing tooth are abnormally close, there is no way an establish would “kill” the additional teeth. I would recommend seeing an oral surgeon to see if they recommend an establish in that area.

Seeing that you are only 20 years ancient, an establish is your best option. A join would require filing down the teeth on any side of the missing tooth and putting crowns on persons teeth. Ultimately persons teeth will be lost and you will also lose bone in the area of the missing tooth.

The establish might cost more to start with, but it is a life long fix, disparate a join or a flipper (which is basically what you have now with your retainer).

You don’t have to quit smoking to get an establish, but it is recommended for at least the first five days to help the establish fuse with the bone (as well as your lifelong health).

Excellent luck.

There have been reported case of HIV in FRESH FROZEN ALLOGRAFTS, but these are not
used in dentistry. Synthetic grafts (alloplasts) have a very poor track record with regard to regenerative the makings.

JUst about every dental conundrum is repairable. I can only see them rejecting you for medical reasons if it was something much more serious. They will reject you for life morbidly obese, really stupid or even deep in debt. The debt part is for security reasons. The reasoning is if you owe too much money you are more likely to steal, sell secrets, or commit additional crimes to get out from under debt. But, I can’t imagine a dental issue keeping you out. Just call up and question them.

Answer by King Sobieski
No, unless they are causing serious health problems of some additional kind.

As a matter of fact, the military will help you to get new teeth and will fix up your ancient ones with every resource they have.

There are a lot of public joining the military right now so it is a small more competitive than most additional times in history. They’ll take a excellent look at your teeth when you get to MEPS and will let you know from there.

You shouldn’t have anything to worry about, especially if you are going active duty.

You get free dental care on Active Duty. In fact, it’s mandatory that you go to annual checkups and cleanings and get any repairs necessary done before you deploy. They’ll take care of you. If the teeth don’t cause you any pain, then you’ll just go to a dentist at some point in initial training like every additional recruit, and the dentists will fix up your teeth. No problems.

My teeth cost too much ... how long I can wait a cavity?

So far I have spent a few thousand (braces, cavities) and still have a few thousand to go (bone grafting, root canal treatment, dental establish). I went to a dentist a few weeks ago that I needed a root canal on a tooth … mentioned no additional teeth said. He was far too expensive, so we concentrate to another place. They found two cavities on any side of the left and right high molars. One of them has a large filling already so the lady said I would need a crown ($ 700). I’m not sure if these really are cavities since the first dentist not to talk about them. But as of a few weeks, I am really excellent on my teeth and I hope I can place off this until I turn 18 in Janurary and able to take us to the business itself and not get tortured by my parents, for my root canal and establish and everything to pay what … what do you reckon?

I am not a dentist but had many encounters with them. First, I recommend that you do floss regularly. Flossing helps a lot because it clarifies the gaps in between teeth where toothbrush can not reach. It reduces dramatically the cavities. Dental floss is immediately necessary after intake sticky foods. Otherwise, reckon twice a day in Ordnung.Ich, you should have a third Opinion from a dentist. Sometimes doctors want to preemptive therapy, even if its excellent for the patient but also more financially productive for the doctors. Ciao, you have nothing to dread! The amount of metal that they have to be compared to someone with braces, is so minimal – if I traveled with clips he never went out, even now with a stable wire on the back of the teeth, nothing. If this is the case any I strongly doubt, just clarify that it has the support, but honestly, in my opinion it is not enough metal for it to set off the metal detector. Do you have a excellent time in Cancun:)

answer melissa0117
metal holder would not have triggered the alarm, it would be a pretty rare opportunity, if it works. Reckon of it this way, the metal that is in your daughter’s support really the same metal, is made for braces. Braces do not set an alarm, and if they did, would airport security pretty understanding. :-) Your daughter should be sure that their owners will NOT be the alarm can be set. Delight in the spring break is Cancun gorgeous!

My friend has experienced pain and swelling in the joints of her body since her implants and wonders if this may maybe be related.

Answer by BJ tech
i dont reckon so, that is weird. Normally the body doesn’t “reject” metal (my husband’s got a back full of titanium!). This is kind of a doctor question they probably need to see if there’s a cause from implants or just coincidence that arthritis is beginning to rear its hideous head.

Answer by LadyRaven
She may be allergic to the metal in her implants. I would have her contact her dentist, and tell the dr. the side effects she has been having, she may need to have them replaced.

Answer by Vodnipanny82
there should be no problems with side effect to metals in implants, fillings, braces, or anything going into your mouth as long as you let you dentist know of any known metal allergies for that matter ALL allergies. Most establish metal is titanium which is suppose to be hypo-allergenic. If they is any pain or irritation to your mouth with any dental appliances that your dentist didn’t tell you to expect you should contact him or her as soon as possible.

as a thought to your friends case they need to contact there doctor or dentist it may maybe just be pain from the bones having something “traumatic” done to them ( it will exchange the whole body even if it was done it the mouth to an extent) but there very well may maybe be a more serious issue like an infection that may maybe be bring on these symptoms

Answer by thddspc
Pure titanium is completely inert when placed in the creature body.. Nothing in the creature body can chemically react with it. A pure titanium establish that has been properly sterilized and surface-treated should not cause any reactions at all.

Some companies do make alloy implants that are composed of more than 1 metal which might cause problems.. Your friend might want to find out what kind of implants she got.

You should see your dentist asap to determine whether or not the baggy tooth is stable. There are ways we can try to prevent the tooth from falling out. If the tooth does fall out and it is an adult one, bring it to your dentist ASAP in a glass of milk or a cup of your saliva (be careful not to touch the roots!) we can usually re-establish it as long as it hasn’t been out of your mouth for too long.

you need a dentist to see. The surgeon can advise you if your gums have sufficiently wide and if you are a candidate for implants. Most dentists will accept a deposit and work out a payment plot for the rest back.

best dental establish

you told me this, get a root canal, because its better to save your tooth, but why? My tooth is so decayed (hereditary, not because I do not brush) I would just grab it and get an establish rather than a root canal, but I am told that is a stupid choice because I was still young, am I to save my teeth, can someone please tell me why?

answer Hez You may have
the extraction and the gap may not be suitable for an establish, it can not be large enough or not enough bone can be there. Even if you do not grow up with the establish and the bone is when you are fully grown, the establish in the incorrect position. Also, implants are not without problems, they may be infected. It is always better to keep your own teeth as long as you can and root canals can work really well. Excellent luck.

Air Force dental benefits for spouses?

My spouse is a civilian and depedant In an E3 in the AF active duty. You need 2 dental implants ultimately .. Our dental services include? Or I’ll be looking for payment out of pocket. Before we married, we found that a dentist would do about it, but it was $ 1500 per tooth under their own dental insurance. Anyone have any experience with this issue? Please do not tell me to look it up, Ive already tried. Thank you!

They cause wisdom teeth crowd and the movement of other teeth?

They cause wisdom teeth crowd and the movement of other teeth?

I have wisdom teeth on horizontal ground, and I am aware that some doctors recommend removal to prevent displacement and shift teeth into position. But there are no products or anything that anyone can say that wisdom teeth have really cause movement? It confuses me that one tooth, the other 12 teeth or so that moving can be implanted in my jaw. Can do a tooth? It seems like a bizarre argument, and I am ‘Div /> just looking for evidence.

bye, and will, if left. In addition to the distance to go the teeth then, too.

answer from me 10000% they
-I do not know, articles, but I can not clarify how. If there is no room for something and you finished in any way moves the additional things the space occuping in a different position so it can fit. If there are like 10 blocks in a basket fitting perfectly then try, in an 11th then place the 10 blocks Natrually positions to “uneven” positions in the 11 had a wisdom tooth is pushing himself inside and go to make the additional teeth, so it fits. If your teeth are bent and they are streight shift, because if they take up less room side ways are. Does that make sense to you? I hope so, because its the clearest way I can place it. -Sorry for the spelling errors. If I were you, I would have removed them, I’m just worried of pain ….. = “[Whatever! Goooood Luck! =]

answer kittyfreek
Yes, they can do and what they are doing. Remember are hard on our teeth and our soft gum are. I have 3 wisdom teeth, I had felt the difficulty they were putting on my additional teeth, plus, because it was not break enough room for them properly, they always sore and painful. Having them removed (the recovery) was very painful, but at the end of the day, which lasted 2 weeks, and everything was fine there.
