establish if you are a nonsmoker healthy adult with brilliant hygiene with healthy teeth adjacent to the space and have excellent bone for an establish.

It is really all about personal preference and if you can financially afford the establish if you choose that.

Implants are exceptionally painful during recovery. Insurance companies usually cover more of the cost for bridges than implants. (Check with your insurance company on the coverage for both.)

EDIT…

I’m wondering if Skeeter had veneers place on instead of actual implants. I can’t imagine someone NOT having pain from getting an establish. For myself and two additional friends have an establish and the recovery was horrendous for all of us! That bone grafting sucked!

As they say depending on your choice, and depending where you live, i can get a partical 1300.00 and for 1 establish 3000.00 so, its up to you.. remember a partical it consist of all teeth that missing and the establish is for only 1 tooth. My implants weren’t painful, but I have had sinsus problems since…question your dentist the pros and cons of each…and weight it out….

I have dental implants and can share with you my thoughts. When a join is place the adjacent teeth are shaved down which often compromises persons teeth. The bone under where the tooth is missing will start to deteriorate because it is the tooth roots that keep the teeth healthy. Dental implants are NOT painful! They are wonderful and to me the best next to your own teeth.

See my avatar? That is my new smile. I have 8 implants on top and 6 on the bottom

I would say establish because you don’t need to involve the rest of the teeth if they are healthy. Unless #13 and #15 need crowns. Then, I would go for a join if you can’t afford a establish. Implants are fantastic but, there more intricate. Depending on the size of the infection and the sinus. If you have a huge infection then you will have bone lose which earnings bone grafting. Bone grafting is not cheap any. Or if you need a sinus lift that’s another procedure besides an establish. Your looking at 2,000 roughly for the establish and maybe bone and sinus lift which are another 800.00 roughly. That’s not even the restorative side of it. After about 6 months of healing your need a crown place onto the establish which cost roughly 1800.00. So, its up to you on what you want to do. Is money a issue? Does #13 and 15 need crowns? Might you need bone grafting and a sinus lift? These are all questions you need to question your dentist or the specialist.

have travel experience, but cannot afford USA dental cost now, while on fixed income.

Check with dental clinics in your area. Implants are serious surgery. Most states have cheap dental clinics where the fees are based on your income.

Check with a reputable Mexican or Canadian clinic (I’m assuming you’re in the US).

If you are in the EU, check with a reputable Hungarian clinic.

If in Asia, check with a reputable Thai or Indian clinic.

Keyword life: reputable.

I wish you all the best!

But if I may suggest, don’t do dentures… do bridges instead.

  1. Dental implants are self supporting, easier to keep clean, do not rely on adjacent teeth for support or strength, do not require removal of enamel layer of your natural teeth for preparation of the adjacent natural teeth, and have a longer life expectancy than bridges.
