When the Orthodontist takes my braces off, will my baby tooth be pulled out with them??? :O?
I have this baby tooth right next to my upper right front tooth that doesn’t have a huge tooth above it and it’s moderatly wiggly. The oral surgeon says I shouldn’t need an implant for about five being but when the orthodontist takes my braces off next week he says if the tooth doesn’t hAve strong enough roots, it may pop out with the bracket :O!!!!!!! I do not want this to happen at all!!!! Will it???? Help!!!!!!!

3i dental implant
Teeth implants come with some risks due to the process of drilling into the jawbone to anchor the added teeth. One doctor has told me that there is a serious risk associated with having implants made to the lower jaw due to the complexity of the nerves there. Results could be loss of taste, permanent numbness of the tongue. How risky is this?

never heard of that before taste buds are in tongue

Chances are extremely slim. If implants are carried out by reputable surgeon success rate should be above 90%. Numbness of tongue can only result from hurt to the lingual nerve, which should not be in the immediate vicinity of a lower jaw implant. Taste will have no change.
The only nerve at risk is the inferior dental nerve which supplies the lower teeth and lip with sensation. So long as implants are properly measured and placed risk should be minimal. Shop around for excellent surgeon
