Try looking at EHealth.com. They have policies you can look at.

Even if you get insurance, be aware that some plans don’t take in implants at all, some plans take in them at 50%, and most plans only pay out a maximum of about $ 1500 per YEAR, so that doesn’t go very far if you have a lot of expensive work to do. Carecredit offers interest free financing for medical/dental procedures if you need it. Excellent luck!

My family have this health insurance – health-quotation marks.isgreat.org
It is affordable and has excellent coverage for dental issues.
As I know they can provide coverage with preexisting condition.

bone graft for dental implant

when selecting a dentist what schooling should they have. There are a lot of general dentist who do implants, but I am looking for one who has schooling in implants.

An Implantologist is the specialist you need.

If the practitioner seats implants, he or she has had schooling in placing them. Oral surgeons and periodontists as well as general dentists house implants. If you are looking for someone with a lot of experience you could question your dentist for recommendation. Usually periodontists and oral surgeons will do the most cases because they have a larger referral base. You can also check out the page “how to find a dental professional” at

The site also has a search for a practitioner who seats dental implants.
