There is always some discomfort after an implant.
How much discomfort depends on how involved was the procedure.
Sometimes implant are placed through the gums without surgery.
Sometimes, the surgery is larger and more liable to produce discomfort.
The dentist usually prescribes some pain medication if he or she thinks there will be some pain.
You can question the dentist doing the procedure.
Hope this helped.

Hi,
I’ve an implant.I had an accident and I lost my one tooth in that accident. So, when I met to the dentist in my town, the dentist looked at the tooth and mainly because of the way it broke, he was unable to place a crown on it. My selections were pull it and then have a bridge, no tooth, a flipper tooth, or an implant. It’s my 2nd tooth from the front, would be the 3nd for most persons, but I’ve a tiny mouth and had 3 teeth pulled for braces. Anyway, I chose an implant.
When I first got the tooth it was a small odd how it felt, but now I’m completely use to it and I can’t feel a difference. This site helped me so much so I am sure it will help you too.Excellent luck! http://www.teethwhiteningways.com

I am just wondering if their prices are set in stone? Or can you negotiate some stuff? Like Dental Implants? Anyone work in a dentist office know this answer?

Won’t hurt to question but doubtless not. Dental fees are so rediculous these days & the dentist know it. They will admit it to me but not to you!! Doc W

For expensive procedures(such as implants) you might be able to negotiate the price some. I wouldn’t bank on it for less vital stuff.

What do you reckon? Answer below!
