Can u get tooth implants younger than 18?

say 17 or so

“Patient age by no means is an hindrance for implant treatment.

Our oldest patient who had successful implantation and received prosthesis in Vilnius Implantology Center was 76 year ancient man. Boys younger than 18 being and girls younger than 17 being can not have dental implants placed due to continuing jaw growth.”

My friend had her front tooth knocked out at cheerleading our freshman year of high school. She had, I estimate it was sort of like a retainer?, with a fake tooth in it for a few being because her orthodontist said she could not get an implant in anticipation of she was 18 (due to continuing growth of the jaw). Though, she, now 18, recently got her implant, and things are going well!

What do you reckon? Answer below!
