Is a gap right in the middle of your two front teeth ugly or unique?

I have a gap in between my two front teeth. It’s not huge, but noticeable if you look meticulously. I’d say medium. I’ve been seriously thinking about veneers or teeth implants, but I wouldn’t want my two front teeth to look like a rabbit or something. Sometimes teeth implants or bonds look really screwed up. Do you all like gaps or are y’all just unaffected by them? Tell me if you reckon they’re extremely hideous or something.
all my other teeth are straight and gap-free.
gosh I didn’t need to hear a moral authority. I know it’s “inane” but people are inherently superficial. Stop with “get over it” speech.

I reckon it’s unique. Madonna has a gap.

people (particularly women) worry far more than they need to about the inane things that really don’t change the opinions of anyone worth being around. This is one of those things.

As long as its not a huge huge gap,.. it’s ok.

What you have is called diastima. Your best choice would be venners, they look awesome and they would shave the front of your 2 front teeth and house the veneers. Implants are very expensive and are for people who are gone teeth or have really terrible teeth.

I can answer your question with another question..

What do YOU reckon?

Be only yourself and remember that its what you reckon that matters most.

implant or a bridge?

Answer by Bridges
Live without it. It makes for a cool hole to squirt water through.

There is nearly no situation that I can reckon of everywhere there would not sufficient bone for a conventional bridge. Unless you mean the bone on the remaining adjacent teeth is in terrible condition… THAT’s a conundrum! If that’s what you mean, it may be time to start talking about a “transitional partial denture” made all of acrylic.

Dr. Tom is right, though. If you have that much information, someone who has really seen your mouth also is in the best position to give you treatment advice.

Answer by DrDOA
A bone graft (surgically house bone in that area) would do the trick, then you can have the option to choose either treatment you want. Of course you will need to see a specialist though.

If you have already been told that the bone is insufficient, then you surely must have also been told what your treatment options are.
