dental implant - cheap but ugly?

dental implant - cheap but ugly?

i got a dental implant in my unencumbered incisor ( tooth next to front tooth), my dentist didnt clarify prices with me just told me about dental implants, and that i needed it bcoz my tooth was dead. After i got it im confused coz although they only charged me around 400 dollars for it (i always read that its at least 1000dollars)….it looks terrible….it doesnt contest the size or shape of my other unencumbered incisor at all, and doesnt contest in colour either. Is this common? It does look better than my dead tooth but i thought dental implants were supposed to contest your other teeth quite well.
i reckon your right…he never said dental implant…he just told me something would be implanted and they would make a tooth around it…and i estimate i just assumed it was a dental implant. i will question him what exactly was done at my next visit…..thank you Tom.

if its $ 400 its not an implant. You should get your dentist to tell you what was really done. Implants cost around $ 3500. They probobly did a root canal and place a post in the tooth to hold on a filling or something. Noone can answer a question in anticipation of you know what you had done because it surely wasn’t an implant

average cost of a dental implant

I am in the plotting stages of the dental implant process and I will need some grants or funding of some kind in order to complete the process. I have found a couple sources that I am applying to and feel that the more I have to apply to will increase my chances of getting chosen for the grants. I’m not looking for pro bono, nor do I want to go to a dental college because I live in rural Montana and traveling to a college would not work too well on my limited budget. I have found a implant specialist here in state who I’m working with to get the surgery plotted. I’m hoping there are sources out there that I can apply to in order to get this done. This is not being done for cosmetic reasons but for health reasons. Thanks for any information you can share with me.
