Anyone any experience of implant retained or supported dentures?

Hi. I have been told I need all of my teeth in the high jaw removed. I would like fixed join on implants but due to cost am considering establish retained denture. I want to know if anyone has establish retained dentures and would they recommend them? are they better than conventional dentures? Also I have been told I can have high jaw denture on 2 implants but many web sites recommend 4 for high jaw. Has anyone experience of two establish retained denture and is this sufficient? Thanks in anyone can help

We have patients who some have the join and some have the denture. Cost is way high for the join. But one patient with the denture has to keep coming back because her establish clasp on the denture keeps breaking. But thats only one patient out of like 4.

i usually plot a conventional high denture and lower establish supported denture. no implants upstairs because you should have a excellent seal with a properly made denture. i place 4 lower implants fore to the foramen with a rigid connector in the lower denture. i like a metal framework in the lower denture to prevent possible breakage. 2 implants increases the possiblity of rockage from front to back or worse, tissue supported occlusion. i had an ancient lady tell me once that she may maybe chew the bark off a tree! excellent luck.

Hi
Dental establish dentures are a solution for public who have lost all of their teeth (edentulous), any on the high jaw, lower jaw or both. It is a method of maintaining the shape of the mouth and all of the functions of the jaw and teeth at a lower cost than a full set of dental implants.

Persons of you who have dentures or who are familiar with denture wearers know of the embarrassment when the dentures slip or fall during conversation, laughter or while intake. The use of glue or paste can never completely prevent this from happening.

The only guaranteed method for keeping your dentures emotionally involved so that they never slip and thereby preventing this embarrassing situation is the method known as dental implants dentures. Read more- http://www.dental-implants-guide.com/dental-establish-dentures.html

Best results will be with 4-5 implants but 2 implants will also do a excellent job. If the reason for using 2 implants is your budget – you should consider Mini dental implants -http://www.dental-implants-guide.com/mini-dental-establish.html

cheap dental establish

I’ve had dental establish couple of months ago, I will be dying up the procedure with my dentist after another 2-3 months. Does any person have an thought how long it is going to be for the tooth restoration to be completed? This includes putting the abutment and crown … etc. Thanks.

Smith, typically a healing abutment will be placed after the uncovering surgery. The Dentist may or may not make a platform level impression at this time. It really depends on where the establish is and how the gums are healing. After a small period (normally 1 to 2 weeks) with a healing abutment, I make the platform level impression. With this impression I will have both the abutment (if custom is life fabricated) and the crown fabricated at the same time. This normally takes about 4 weeks or so. If the Dentist is using a prefabricated abutment, it can be placed on a posterior tooth in place of a healing abutment. So, long tale small, about 4 to 6 weeks after your uncover surgery. Hope this helps.

Usually the dental establish takes 3 to 4 months to congeal in the bone. The next step is to place the abutment and take an impression for the lab to fabricate a crown to be cemented over the abutment. The time it takes the lab to make the crown is usually around 3 weeks. At that time the crown will be cemented in place and you are finished! You will really delight in your new establish as they look, feel and function very much like a natural tooth. Congratulations!
