Q&A: Can I get a dental implant on plavix?

Q&A: Can I get a dental implant on plavix?

I’m on plavix and need dental implants. Is this possible even as on plavix. Stopping is not an option. Had a heart pathway stent place in. Thank you Bella

That’s something that you must consult with your doctor, mainly if you had heart pathway stent. Is plavix a blood thiner? Then you really have to consult with the dentist.

best dental establish

which one would be best?

Answer by grandpa walleye
In most cases if the wisdom tooth has excellent root formation it would be best to go it forward into proper alignment. Question an orthodontist how realistic this would be. Nothing is better than your natural tooth. Excellent luck

Answer by John Bridger – DDS
I have done both. The establish practice is, in my opinion the best, strongest, and the most dependable. It is very hard to upright and with braces pull a wisdom tooth into place of the gone following molar ahead of it. And the wisdom teeth generally have tiny, conical, less than ultimate-shaped roots for longevity. But if there is limited bone in the area of the proposed establish, then the moving of the wisdom tooth might be the better choice.
