Q&A: Dental implant age question.?

Q&A: Dental implant age question.?

I have 2 baby canine teeth that are going to be extracted, and my dentist said that i could have the option of getting dental implants placed as two adult canine teeth to replace the extracted baby teeth. I just wanted to know if there is an age limit for getting dental implants. By the way i am a 17 year ancient girl. :)

Everywhere are the adult canines, are they impacted? If so, they will need to be removed prior to implants. Very rare to have congentially gone canines. You are getting very close to the age everywhere implants are an option. Excellent Luck
