I just had dental implant?
Is it okay to brush my teeth? I do not want the stitches to open
answer by Dr. Albert, DDS (UNITED STATES)
brush gently around the implant, you ARE excellent.
Avoid brushing the surface for the first 24 hours. Then … Gently brush the area around the plaque and other bacteria …. You do not want to come to remove an infection … rinse with warm salt water after meals … will decrease the bacterial count, as gut.In a few days-weeks to heal the area and the stitches are removed or dissolve. To maintain a healthy implant site, brush as usual. It can hurt and bleeding in the first … Though, the tissue shrinks and brush will be simpler!
