Why could swelling start to occur a month after a dental root implant?

I got a dental root establish over a month ago and all of a sudden it ongoing swelling. It is like a bubble above my front tooth (which the establish was done). It does not hurt nor is it huge enough to really be too noticeable. I made an appt with my dentist but was curious if anyone knew what it was

It sounds like there may be some infection bestow. Your dentist will check it with an x-ray. This may maybe be a complication and hopefully will resolve with antibiotics. Excellent luck.

Investigate has shown that dental implants are reasonably safe. It is possible to get an infection, similar to gum disease, nearly them if they aren’t kept clean, but implants are probably less likely to be converted into infected than a tooth. They are made of titanium, which is very well-matched with your body. Other than the visits required to place the establish and the crown on top of it, once the establish is in place, you don’t need to see the dentist any more often.
