I don't have dental insurance. Are there any resources that I can look into for low cost dental care?

I am looking for an actual “low cost” dental or medical healthcare insurance plot and NOT a “discounted” dental care service such as the AmeriPlan services. I am in need of oral surgery and maybe a couple dental implants or join work, which of course is very expensive. Can anyone help me by as long as a list of beneficial information? I promise you that your feedback is highly appreciated…..thanks!

If there is a dental school in your area you might find some help for basic dental care e.g. extractions and oral surgery . Implants and bridges are nice, but you can survive without them, so that will be more hard to obtain on the cheap. Some dental clinics are offering payment plans structured around your income, but expect the level of care for which you pay.

There are exceptions. If you are, for example, a divorced mother trying to reenter the workforce you might find foundations that will subsidize what you need in order to help you find a excellent job.

As a dentist I recommend calling your counties community Department of Family and Childrens Services. A lot of these services really have a dentist on staff that is available to help with any dental procedures you may need. If your county DFCS office does not provide any type of dental services they should be able to place you into contact with someone who will be able to help you (ex: another state agency). Also try your community dental school if there is one around you, these procedures are usually provided and are very low in cost compared to a dental office itself. Excellent luck and I hope you find the help you need.

Dental surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and lasik surgery in India by a company called Forerunners Healthcare. The Price for dental and lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very well-known in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient tales.
They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and additional international patients who plot to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally judge that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

maybe in another 20 years depending on the technology because technoglogy advances everyday. ultimately humans will find a way to reproduce gum tissue and bone.
science is a very incredible business…it may take a shorter amount of time.
