no way. you’ll find yourself waking up in a tub of ice with an incision on your stomach and a kidney gone.

Yeah, it’s safe, just make sure you go with someone that has a excellent reputation, not anyone that just set up shop.
I don’t have insurance so i said “what the hell, let’s give Mexico a try”, I went there to get my 4 wisdom teeth removed and I paid about half what the greedy dentists wanted here in the States, everything went fine.
I killed two birds with one stone, I had a vacation and the wisdom teeth removed!!
Anyways, having an implant sounds complicated, so I would search online for dentists in Mexico, and e-mail them or call them and question them for more info, like how long you would need to stay in Mexico.

Each house in the world is safe or perilous. based on everywhere you go and how you go about things.
Best thing to do is to do your research on the doctor you are going to visit.
Excellent Luck.

best dental implant
I don’t want to mention my estimate but just wondering from those of you with experience: What would be a honest price for having a partial molar extracted and having an implant place in (not a crown or bridge) and having 7 cavities filled along with a cleaning?
Thanks so much!
ohh, that reminds me, the cavities will be porcelain
I do live in Los Angeles and they told me $ 4k… I estimate this doesn’t signal unreasonable..
NO INSURANCE = PAYING CASH..

Teeth have 6 layers. Single-surface cavities are cheaper than filling multi-surface cavities. Amalgem (silver) fillings are generally a small cheaper than white fillings.
I had four cavities filled recently all white, one of them was 2 surface, the other three were single-surface. I paid $ 450. My routine check-up and cleaning was about $ 250, but this included my films (x-rays).

Can you get an implant in the house everywhere the tooth will be extracted? I once had a back tooth extracted but while the dentist told me I didn’t really need a replacement, I chose on one anyway because I didn’t like how I kept sucking in my cheek there and biting it. The dentist told me I didn’t have enough bone to support an implant so he suggested I get a double bridge/crown to replace that gone tooth. The double crown means that I had the two teeth in front of it capped in a tied crown to support the bridge.

7 cavities? Wow. The implant is going to be real pricey. I know my cleaning’s are about $ 125 w/ xrays. No x-rays, about $ 85. Cavities, depending on how terrible they are will doubtless run anywhere from $ 200-300/tooth. I’ve heard getting an implant is expensive. I know the crown I paid for, getting the fleeting and permanent ran about $ 1000. I’d estimate the implant is double that. I’d say you’re looking at a minimum of $ 3500 all the way up to $ 5000. And, if you’re in the larger cities like L.A. or NYC, it may be even more.

Ummm upwards of $ 3,000? I was thinking of doing that…instead I got 7 fillings, a root canal, tooth buildup, crown lengthening surgery, and a crown. Hmm… I wonder which will be cheaper.

the price depends on the surface on the fillings, more surfaces more money….the extraction depends on if it should be simple or surgical….and the implant depends if u have to see a specialist ( and just to let u know–this is the best lifetime solution for u) after u see the specialist u would return to ur primary dentist to have the crown place on (an extra expense) As far as the prophy (cleaning) it depends if u are just a regualar prophy or if u have periodontal disease.
The deep cleanig costs alot more and depends on the stages of periodontal disease.
Then not to mention if u have insurance….all these factors play a huge roll in ur estimate.
i would suggest that u get a second opinion, as diffrent dr’s have diffrent prices..unfortunatly
if u do go that route..i suggest getting ur x-rays from ur current dr.’s office…as most dr’s will charge u for x-rays and exam fee….so if u can bypass the x-ray fee…..do it. but u may have to pay the dr. visit fee.
by law they cannot diagnose without the x-rays, even if u bring the treatment plot from previous dr.
so in other words less is more…especially if it stays in ur pocket.
if i were u….i would look into a chain called “affordable dentisty now” they are not nationally yet…but they are in numerous state..hopfully there located in ur state.
they have pretty resonable prices on dental work..but, i don;t reckon they do they do the implants…whereas they would refer u to one of their collegues.
