What is a dental implant?

What is a dental implant?

if you lose a front tooth or something can they replace it and make it look normal or something?

Answer by Amaan
Yep.
They rip out your tooth, if it’s still there.
Then they screw in a metal screw into your gum, it goes into your bone.
They then stitch up all the gum around it and let it heal.
Then you just get ‘screw on teeth’ you just screw them in and they look pretty much normal.
Of course your under anesthetic during the procedure

cost for dental implant

All four of my wisdom teeth were removed a year ago but my face has altered drastically. I know some people say it isnt possible but it has altered undoubtably and i doubt my face would have altered from a triangle to a square in 3 days.

Is it possible to get dental implants everywhere my wisdom teeth once were?

First of all there is no need to replace the wisdom tooth as wont be of any use of chewing food …
and about the change in facial structure … it can happen a bit as the teeth can go …
for that u can do ortho treatment if necessary…
no doctor will suggest u to house an implant in replacement of wisdom teeth and if they do then its a foolish pronouncement …

I am sure that wisdom teeth can be replaced. The question is, why would you want to replace the wisdom teeth? They are very trying to clean/floss. It is better to not have them.
