Dental implant care, a week or two later?

Dental implant care, a week or two later?

So about a week ago, possibly a bit longer I had two bottom implants. I know right after surgery its not okay to drink through a straw for the suction, but isn’t that reserved for the sutures?

In this instance, I don’t reckon I had any sutures, not much bleeding to commence with.

So I’m just wondering I’m going to a movie tonight and was wondering if I got a drink if it was okay to drink through the straw or if its best if I hold off in anticipation of the crowns are in house.

Thanks.

Suck away…you are fine. In this case you do not need a blood clot to protect the extraction site because there is no chance of dry socket.

Have fun at the movies

I’m 16 being ancient and I’ll be getting braces. ugh. But I was wondering if dental implants are for gone teeth only?, or if there’s a possibility that they can replace bent teeth?

Answer by Autumn
You’re much better off keeping your own teeth. Implants are better for just replacing gone teeth. Implants are a long process. Get braces if you want you’re teeth straight and keep them very clean…excellent luck!

I reckon they can but…
They are very expensive and I had one for a gone tooth that did not work (it did not correctly screw into house) so I now have just a gap and the metal take in.
I would much prefer bent teeth and would recommend them only as a last result for gone teeth, mine caused pain and nerve hurt.
Braces are a much better and far less drastic option, I’m sure they will fix the bent teeth!
excellent luck

Bent teeth can be taken care by braces. There is not need for implants. Implants are fitted when the teeth are gone or teeth has to be taken out to fit it. But as you are getting braces, you should not worry about bent teeth. Braces treatment is meant for that only. They can replace all the teeth in your mouth but it is a really painful and expensive process, and it is only done when there is irreparable hurt.

In comparison, braces will hurt a lot less.
