It would not be unnatural. How a cracked tooth is a job injury baffles me but I presume you reckon you have a excellent case.

get a lawyer if they fire you can sue the shi. out of them

As long as you were employed when the injury happened, and the injury was reported, then you can still file workman’s comp.

If the tooth was cracked due to a on the job incident then you should be covered. If you were to be fired from your job you aver remains open and accepted until a doctor deems you medically stationary, or there is evidence that you cracked your tooth while doing something none work related.
