It depends on whether you had a tooth extracted or there was already a spot to place the establish in.

If you need an extraction, the tooth comes out, a bone graft usually goes in, and you wait about three months for the next step.

The establish is placed (the titanium screw-like piece that fits into the bone) and three to fourth months are allowed for it to integrate.

Another piece is fit onto the screw and a temporary crown can be made. The rest depends on how quick the lab your dentist uses can cast your crown (the part of the establish that you will really chew on)

So – anywhere between 3 and 8 months is a normal amount of time for an establish to take.

Hi, I have to get braces because I have a small overbite. My first premolar is missing. Can the braces close the space between my missing teeth? or do I have to get a tooth establish? thanks

Answer by Dr Akhil
consult your dentist about this and he can go the teeth to close the gap depending on the position of your lower teeth.
