An establish is placed into a hole that has been drilled into the bone. A temporary covering is placed over the establish to keep the gum from growing over it. It is allowed to heal for a few months and the bone becomes fused to the establish. Then a stable crown is constructed and then cemented to place over the establish. The whole cost of everything is in the locality of $ 2500.

I personally haven't, but i work along side an implantologist, the pros and cons of implants else where are: Yes, they are cheaper, but the major con is that if something happens such as the establish fails a dentist back in your home town will not take any responsibilities or consider any possible work as it wasn't implanted by him. Therefore you will have to travel back to Thailand for further treatment. Plus implants usually come with a guarantee, so if you have it done in your home state/town the guarantee continues to be valid. Excellent luck.
